Why did Iran leader Mojtaba fail to appear at Khamenei funeral?

Thousands of Iranians streamed into central Tehran to pay their respects to slain leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei but Mojtaba Khamenei, who succeeded his father as supreme leader, did not appear.
