Corrections & Clarifications

A dated, public record of corrections and clarifications made to Daily Junction articles, and how to request one.

Last reviewed

We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we would rather correct it openly than quietly edit it away. This page is a dated public record of corrections and clarifications made to our published articles.

Our policy

  • Significant factual errors are corrected in the article itself, and the article's "updated" date reflects the change.
  • Material corrections — ones that change the substance of a story — are logged here with the date, the article affected, and a short description of what changed.
  • Minor fixes (typos, formatting, broken links) are made without a log entry, since they do not affect the substance of the reporting.
  • We do not delete or silently rewrite articles to avoid acknowledging an error.

Our full editorial standards, including sourcing and fact-checking, are set out in the editorial policy.

How to request a correction

If you believe something we published is inaccurate, email [email protected] with the article title, a link if possible, and a description of the issue. Include a source for the correct information where you can — it helps us verify and fix it faster. See our contact page for other ways to reach the newsroom.

Every correction request is reviewed against the original sourcing. If we agree an error was made, we correct the article and, where the error was material, add an entry below.

7 July 2026 — Corrections log launched

We introduced this dedicated corrections and clarifications log as part of an ongoing effort to be more transparent about how we handle errors in our reporting. No corrections were outstanding at launch. From this date, any material correction to a published article will be logged here with the date, the article affected, and what changed.
