Masthead — Who Publishes Daily Junction

Who is accountable for what Daily Junction publishes: our editorial leadership, how the newsroom is structured, and how to reach us.

Last reviewed

Daily Junction is an independently operated news and analysis publication, founded in 2024. This page sets out who is accountable for what we publish, in the interest of being verifiable rather than anonymous.

Editor-in-Chief

Marcus Vale is Editor-in-Chief of Daily Junction. He is accountable for the editorial standards, accuracy and integrity of everything the site publishes, and for how corrections and complaints are handled. Alongside this role, he also reports directly as our Business & Markets Editor. Read more about his role and beat on his author page.

Newsroom structure

Coverage is organised around section editors and specialist correspondents, each responsible for the accuracy and quality of their own beat:

  • Amelia Hart — Technology Correspondent
  • Dr. Nadia Okoro — Science & Health Writer
  • Liam Chen — World Affairs Reporter
  • Jordan Pike — Political Correspondent
  • Elena Marsh — Environment & Climate Correspondent
  • Naomi Clarke — Opinion Editor
  • Harper Quinn — Marketing & Growth Editor
  • Rachel Stone — Personal Finance Editor
  • Priya Anand — Lifestyle & Travel Editor

The full list of contributors, with their beats and biographies, is on our about page and on each writer's own author page.

How editorial decisions are made

Editorial decisions — what we cover, how we frame it, and when something needs correcting — are made by the relevant writer and editor, with the Editor-in-Chief accountable for the outcome. No commercial team has authority over editorial content; see how we are funded for how that separation works in practice. Our full standards are set out in the editorial policy, and a dated record of published corrections is kept in our corrections log.

Accountability and contact

If you have a concern about something we have published — accuracy, fairness, or anything else — the fastest route is our contact page, or email [email protected] directly. Concerns that cannot be resolved with the relevant writer are escalated to the Editor-in-Chief.
